HI CHARLES!!!!!!!!!! nice to see you.
For those of you who don't know Chuck....he is one awesome signwriter. I guarantee he will blow your socks off.
To post a picture you can be a cheap butt like me and make a free website and post your pictures from there. Or you can make a fancy website and post from there...or I think Steve has a way you can do it from the BB also. You can also send your picture to me and I will post it for you.
Looking forward to seeing what you have to share........... Posts: 3729 | From: Seattle | Registered: Sep 1999

To post a picture after you have uploaded it to a server.. all you have to do is use the instant UBB code it is directly under the message box you type your post in.
You will see a list of 10 boxes just hit image and another box will appear that you link your photo to.
If you don't have your own site to upload photos to you can try one of the 2 listed below
If using Photoisland Only .jpg extensions allowed. Once you are registered, select Upload Photos - Click on the Browse button and a directory of your files will display. - Now, locate the file you want to upload and click on it, then click open. - Now select New Album in the Upload destination - Finally, click the button labeled "Upload " - To choose the picture you want to upload to the the BB just click on it in your album, a larger picture will appear. Under Photo Options on the left hand side of the page just click on the link that says Auction etc. That is the URL you will use to link your photo in the image box.
If you use freeservers or sitegem remember after you upload your photo to the free Server use your right mouse button to click on your picture. A new box will appear, click on properties and then copy and paste the address. That is the URL you will use to link your photo in the image box.
Here's a few tips on saving your photos for the web, and the BB in particular.
1. If your image is a photograph with more than 240 colors, save it as a .jpg. If it is artwork with only a few colors, a .gif is the way to go.
2. Save your image at 72dpi. Any higher resolution just isn't needed for a monitor.
3. Keep your image under 500 pixels in width.
4. If using a jpg, always compress it before saving it for the web. I usually save my images at 75% their original file size. You'll be amazed how much your file size is reduced without any loss of quality. It will load faster and reduce bandwidth use at our end.
