This is the last Redwood sign I did before switching to HDU. I used a Gary Anderson design for inspiration (and asked permission). The flowers are supposed to look like a woodcut. What do you think?

I really like it.....good design and top notch craftsmanship!
The only suggestion I would make is to reduce the outline around the leaves....to me it just seems too dark. I think if you varied the size of the leaves that would help as well.....just my thoughts.......
Nice Job!!!

It’s something that we don’t do in Ireland, the sandblasted sign. I think the raw materials are hard to come by and our wet climate may not suit the timber.
Just one suggestion I’d make. I often suggest that by having an element within the sign that is off centre and off the vertical and horizontal it catches the eye. I feel that there is a bit of a hollow below the rose and to the right and my redo is an attempt to compensate that.
Let me say again I love the sign and would love the chance to do one even half as good.

Can anyone tell me how to make the gilding pop more in a photo?
