Here is something I did recently that was a little different from the work I routinely do. This is constructed from Sintra exclusively. I had Ken Baker, a local friend and signmaker build it for me. Just so you folks see I really do make signs, and don’t just hang out on the OT posts I learn a lot from all of you on all levels all the time.

Nice work Myra. When you say "exclusively" does that mean every shape is another cut layer? I can see that the letters are cut out, but might have guessed that the letter outlines are painted. What kind of prep & paint did you use, & what thickness material? What adhesive?
Hope you don't mind all the questions. It is very unique to me & I am interested in how it was done.
Cut from 1/2" and 1/4" sintra, layers are glued up with PVC cement. The sintra was primed with bulls eye and painted with one-shot. They were installed with treaded rods and silicone.

I really like that. I have a question. How well does that hold up outdoors. Everyone always says the PVC products expand and contract so much they don't work well outdoors. So I basically avoid making them for outdoors. I would like to change that if it works well. Maybe the paint helps?
Enquiring minds want to know!
