Hi Neil! Love the colors.....how about having the word 'magic' in a flying banner? with the star from a magic wand topping off the word magic?

Ok, I dont like the PH before phone either, nor do I like the 3 floating in the corner I would (and this is just the opinion of some freak) move the phone below the name and put a magical implement up top, maybe a tophat and a brush, something like that.but the design is cool, makes for a versitle logo, 1 color 2 color or full color

Thanks for the comments everyone... Here is another version using some of your suggestions. I have dropped the Ph. I dont usually use it in signs so don't know why I put it on my business card

Hope you don't mind a layman's opinion...especially when it is a dissenting voice.
I think the look of your design is really eye-catching -- but (IMHO) the word "sign" is too hard to read. Maybe it's just my eyes.
