Joe, I guess I pretty much try anything. I really enjoy all of this stuff and wish I had time to learn more.
I just need some serious sales and marketing schooling, then we should be all set. Really want to get my husband working on the sign biz with me someday.

I like it alot Amy!!! One question though...what kind of wood did you paint on?...or is it a faux finish? The lettering seems to float over the board....... ! Thanks...

Joe, it is pieced together pine. My husband buys it a lot to make table tops (he makes custom wood furniture on the side sometimes). We had a piece big enough to use so we didn't have to buy anything. That was the good part about this job, I only had to buy the crackle stuff.
Eric, after a bunch of different test methods I ended up using the crackle kit I bought at Michael's Arts & Crafts and used the antiquing medium that came with it. It is made by Plaid and was around $19.00.
