Yeah I added Blue and Copper pearl to the yellow base to get that real iridescent wood look. Its fun to play with some color for a change. I'm usually painting brown base all day LOL Restoring dashes to original... getting out the pearls and candys, now that's fun LOL Jdee This photo is just a standard A dash

Thanks John for the how-to! A lot of folks here have been asking for a how-to on woodgrain. Glad you came thru! This should help a whole lot!!

Thanks, It only took about 15 mins to woodgrain most of the time was spent fixing the old dash. It was in bad shape. Plus painting it took a Hr or so with the candys and all.. Here is a better how to I made a while back. Its in Flash.. Woodgrain Howto Also here is a pic of a Hard one to do... Its a 37 Plymouth they have so many different prints.. Jdee

Thanks for sharing this here in Letterville John. We are very impressed with the Flash presentation and voice instructions. If more of us could learn how to create these audio/video presentations, a whole new World of learning possibilities will be available to us. Very nice!
