This art is viewed from pretty close (driveway of gas station) so i have had to be fairly detailed. I prefer artwork to text any day, a wide cross section of products from the store gives the viewer a fairly good indication of whats inside without the wall being plastered with text.
Thanks for your interest in my work everyone, I appreciate the feedback. It is my hope that I can inspire you all to try new things and keep this fine old trade alive.
I firmly believe there will always be a place for good crafts people,
I also believe that anyone can do this work if you just get in, have a go and stick with till you get the hang of it. I know this because I started out without these skills, it's purely a matter of the more you do the better you get.

Great job Rob ...don't they have vandals in QLD, it would last about 2 days here before they destroyed it. Did you put a anti graffiti coating on it?

re: comments on vandals... We have had success protecting bench signs with: One layer of frog juice, then Dupont "ChromaClear" automotive clear coat. Frogjuice gets removed when you use Graffiti removers like "Write-off" but the "chromaclear" does not. Frog juice builds up nice and thick and minimizes the chance of fingernails getting underneath vinyl, adn does not affect most paints. This method should work to protect this type of sign as well.

This is very impressive work. I have enjoyed the entire process and have been watching it develop as one watches a soap opera or the next segment of one of those old movie serials.

Hey. thanks for all the great feedback everyone.
Vandalism hasn't been a big problem in Bundy, this wall has never been hit but really it's only a matter of time so I have applied a coat of Poly-U-400 2 pak anti-graffitti clear.
Price tag $7500.00 Aus.
We have discussed a concept for the inside but I think I have cleaned 'em out for now, so it will happen at a later date.
Business is definately steadily increasing for the whole centre but particularly for the Last Stop, really good to see.
