$75/hour seems cheap to me too, given the quality. I don't know local market / competitive conditions, but I would have thought you could get more like $95/hour for such great work.

Great work A, that price is about what i would charge here but I'm with the others, seems like you coulda got a little more especially with the ladder hassle. I can reach almost 9 foot so dont have to use it all the time so can get things done a little faster. jon

I almost posted on the client's attitude alone on this one....she's a royal pain in the &*%!
So frustrating I almost walked off the job.
Same thing everytime with her..she will come out to 'inspect' about every 15 minutes..."What colors are you going to use"? "How come you charge me more each time"? "I want to be there when you paint it" "Oops, you dripped" "You started too far to the right" "Your going to run out of room with the lettering" "The baseball player looks like he's bowling" "I want it exactly like your sketch" "That doesn't look like the sketch" "I've got a corncob up my butt"......
I finally came to the realization that nothing makes this woman happy....and....that I don't have to accept the job next time.
she's one of those ppl that invades your space... like having her finger up your nose while your trying to explain why you have to charge her more each time.
"Because you are a general annoyance, and a royal pain in the *&$" , I want to say...but I tried to be professional about it.
As I write out the invoice she noses in and sees an invoice I have for another client (a small graphic of a fish: $150) She's like a fly that won't quit. "How come you only charged HIM $150"??
"Because HE'S NOT a pain in the %&$"!!!!
I really wanted to say that...
Anyway..thanks, I was so discouraged I almost quit splashes altogether!

Yo Adrienne, excellent work!!!I have done a few windows up here in Manitoba,I wanted to get into more but pricing really sucks, cause they figure its temporary,so it should be cheap.Do you charge by the graphic or by the size? I used one shot, cause of the cold what paint do u recommend,Do you freehand it or project it?The last one I did was a santa in a new corvette,I projected the drawing onto a big piece of cardboard, traced it and put it on the inside of the window.Any advice you can give will be appreciated...email me @ fallon@mts.net Steve
