I had a customer call wanting to know if we made "wood signs in the shape of a football player". I mentioned to her that I may be able to find a coroplast sign blank in that shape since building one out of wood she would be looking at spending a bare minimum of around $100.00.
I had a catalog a while back for an outfit called the shape guys which did this type of blank but can't seem to find it.. I know Grimco does make a football shaped blank and if all else fails, I might try offering her that.
Anyone know any other suppliers and the number (or website) for the shape guys?

Hiya Tony, If I understand correctly, the shape guys went belly up. Please correct me if I'm wrong. However, if you check the classifieds or supplier's soapbox, I recall seeing a note there about another shop offering similar services. It was about a month or 2 ago. Havin' fun, Checkers

No, really is it worth trying to do this for under $100? Around here a square coroplast sign would go for at least that by the time you get up into about 2' x 3' in size with basic copy only.

Problem solved, called the customer back to let her know about the "football" shaped one from Grimco and she went for it. Doug, the $100.00 was just a bare minimum starting point so she would know that this ain't gonna be cheap. Anyways, I ordered the blank and got the job. Problem solved.
I'll search the suppliers soapbox for the guys checkers mentioned, but still would like to know some other suppliers for future reference.
