Hi!

Our main vinyl supplier recently informed us that they would no longer be able to supply us with 30" rolls of vinyl.

Ok...so what use is our 30" cutter?

Fact is, we use a whole lot of 30" vinyl, enough to make it worth our while to look into purchasing a roll cutter and cutting our own logs down.

Now..

I've tried a few websearches but apparently I have no idea what these things are called..because I havent found anyhting even close to what Im after.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I just want to check out costs, availability, different models, manufacturers, etc.

Thanks...

Use the term "Vinyl Slitter" instead of cutter. It doen't sound like you have a sproket feed plotter, is the difference between 24" and 30" vinyl going to be that much of a difference?

Try this

Thanks guys..

Yeah, the 30" is used about half as often as the 24.

We do a lot of illuminated signfaces, and 36" is a pretty common height, so a 28" letter is pretty commonplace around here. We hate having to tile anything that's backlit.

We've got an old 48" cutter, but thewaste gets pretty expensive..

thanks for the link...
