I have a chance to join forces with a body kit/spoiler company to produce and install the graphics. What programs/plotters are you or would you use to get started in this area..

Thanks!
Mike

You just thought that you had met tire kickers before. You had better get a good accounting program and keep your equipment, supplies and everything else out of reach.

For what it's worth.

signforums.com has all the "fast and furious" logos in it's archive in full vector format.

Although, it's not as big in Canada as in the States, It's still a money maker. Crass as it is, It's all on the web!

More info: I'll be referred by the body shop who will sell and collect the $ for each project. The first job sold today on an avalanche truck. This is also a one man show and takes no BS when it comes to making $.

I was surprised that he got $750 for a set of flames for the two sides and hood. We have all heard of the "to good to be true" prices that have been posted on the internet, but it just might be true afterall. I'll let you know when $680 bucks hits my hand. (10% sales commission)

He told me that compared to the $3 grand he would charge to paint it, it was within the customers price range.

I don't want to rehash the paint/vinyl debate because I will be doing masks for the painter as well. I wanted to get into this market because a: there is one and b: it's slow here too.

i have a customer that runs a custom paint shop for boats, buggies, hot rods, etc. at least twice a week i sell him 2 color cf #'s (un-assembled) for 45.00. he gets 175.00 to remove the old ones (if vinyl, 225.00 if painted) and install the new ones. more power to him. he pays c.o.d. and gives me more than just cf's #'s.

It's got nothing to do with " signmakng"

But if these kids want to spend the money, I will sell it to them!
