Does anyone paint the backside of Econolite so it doesn't have the silver mill finished aluminum?

If so, what method do you use? Scuff with Scotchbrite Pad or sand and then paint? What type of Paint? Will 1-shot work?

I tried to find Alumalite but no one around here had the color I needed. I won't be putting anything on the back but think the silver mill finish looks unfinished!

Amy, one night on chat they were discussing DTM paint. Direct To Metal. If I am not mistaken, Judy has used it. E-mail her and find out how she liked it. It was my understanding that no primer is needed. ??? I haven't tried it yet but plan to. I would prep that shiny aluminun to remove factory coatings though. Rapid Prep!
