The post last night, "One more thing on the clip art topic", was likely a very poor choice of words. Actually, that post has nothing at all to do with the current debate here.
I just realized that if I'd seen that topic title, I woulda skipped it.
I put together a "do it yourself" vector clip art how-to on my new webpage, that I wanted to announce.
Just posting this cause I didn't want anybody who might be interested in takin a look to miss out.

Hey Don, great step by step, I have had some sucsess using photoshop to simplfy a photo or graphic first before creating an outline or digitizing. I printed out your step by step and use it nextime. Personally I havent gotten into any of the debates on this issue, I do believe if you dont want to draw something yourself, then you should pay someone else to do it. If you pay someone to use their collection of graphics, then you give those drawnings away you screwed yourself and the guy who drew it. I do think you should change the topic name to something like your an 'artist' draw it yourself!!!
