Ha Ha Ha ...the third can of paint to arrive at the new digs was overturned and spilled ...it was black of course!
We have already sealed the floors so it cleaned up really well...next time it will be intentional and hopefully in the process of making money.
We knew it wouldn't be long but we thought we would at least be moved in before spilling something...oh well we have about a third moved in and will be close to being moved in by nite fall tomorrow ...that will give us two days to get things sorted out and re-open on wednesday when we get our power hooked up.
Tired as hell and loving it.

well Monte, she might be considered by some to be a little soiled but it sounds like she cleans up real nice & at this stage of the game, what more can we ask for?

Heh heh, know the feeling. I had the pleasure of spilling the first can of Fire Red on the floor of our new addition ... I still catch crap for that one . Congratulations at any rate!
Oh, and it's not completely broken in untill you drop an x-acto on your foot and get blood on the floor !

When we built our shop, and I just finished painting the interior, our 2 year old somewhere found these wax crayons to draw as big as she could on the white office wall. I got furious and didn't know how to vent on a sweet little person that was immitating her daddy. As time went by I settled down, and today those marks are treasures that I paint around. That was our first spill.

Some people use champagne to christen something new. I think that paint is very appropiate for a sign shop. From now on all will be very neat and clean. All the best of luck.

I'm so glad to learn that I am not the only "Clutz" in Letterville. On the eve of the day the carpet was installed in my shop I spilled 1/2 gal of forrest green on it. Thank goodness it was latex and the carpet was indoor-outdoor with green in it.
The oldest grand daughter is wanting to "splat" paint all over the floor of the big shop. She thinks it would be "cooool".
