My input on the site. Lose the busy background. Your work speaks VOLUMES!!!! Focus on it, and let it grab all the attention!
On the page about you ... choose a smaller font, and maybe something like verdana or tahoma. I like the photo of you by the way, very friendly and approachable.
Dang Don ... I think that bigshot at that company you were working for did you a favour! Now take those wings he gave you and FLY!
Good job Don! Janette

Very nice website Don. I see a very cool looking logo in there. I agree with Nettie on using a smaller font on your info page but overall you did a great job. Judy

Yes, Amy and Nettie and the rest of ya...input is EXACTLY what I'm lookin for! hahaha I've already changed the background to black, changed the type and typestyle on the bio page, and changed the "visited links" to turn red against the black background. Already a world better, and I'm listenin to every suggestion. I'm very, very, very much new at this game.
Gotta go.....changin the pages so they don't open in a new page! lol

Love that inference! Reminds me of the seven mile bridge in the Keys but from a shark's point of view! The graphic is interesting, clarity and contrast sharp, really grabbed my attention and kept it. The pix does over power the lettering and message though, I liked it a lot though, it's really cool, Don!

Deb, ya mean the logo? Mike Jackson thought it looked like a mountain sunset....guess it just all depends on where you're sittin what ya see. I was goin for a sharp art gallery/studio type of look with a low key lettering approach. I wanted to stand out on an office desktop. LOL

Outstanding job Don!! I really like the clean look you came up with. Looks like you're going to have to add web page design to the list of services you offer

Dynamite work Don, I like the paintings also. I met Arturo Sandoval here in Fresno when he came by. It was a trip because my friend introduced us and told him "he just came in from Habana" you should have seen his face. Then he asked me "are you with or against Castro?" I told him I'm not involved in all that" He said "good answer." Anyway keep up the great work!

Yes, Don! Knowing that you are from Florida, and I was at one time too, it struck me right away as abstract bridges at the seven mile bridge, so bright at sunset, that the beautiful blue was overpowered with reflection. The texture toward the left, clouds, and the texture to the right waves, but the bridges a sign of technology coming quickly to the land of the sun. And..now as you tell me about the inference of the mountains, well, of course, I can see that too. Your work is superb, it will draw them in. Are you giving classes?

Cisco, I saw Arturo in Clearwater. What a performer!!! Outdoor concert with the stage overlooking the yacht basin...and a great sunset on the gulf! Took alot of pics that day, and made a few into poster designs.
By the way, I'm putting together my first online step-by-step this weekend. I'll post when it's ready. ("Vector Drawing 101") It's going to be very basic stuff to start off with. If it goes over well, I may take the time to do a series.
