It seems to me that the Signwrighters Pricing Guide 2001 is way too high for cut out gold leaf letters. It dosn't have 1" HDU cut out pricing. I need to price 24" Garamond style letters and gold leaf them. The price guide for 1" plywood is about $126 plus $216 for the gold! I know how long it takes, that seem way too high.

Si, these are cut out rounded over, primed, sanded, painted then guilded.

I think that the number of letters, and which characters are to be used will greatly impact the selling price. ("I"s vs. "W"s).
With all that's involved, (sales, transfer pattern, cut out, shape, sand, double prime, sand, paint, size, gild, and possibly more) I'm inclined to lean more toward the book on this one.
