I'm asking the impossible trying to get a quote this quick but I'm asking anyway.
We have a customer who needs some two color posters printed. The artwork is real simple, no bleeds and one trap. with maybe 20% ink coverage. Its just four lines of copy with a blank spot at the bottom for them to fill in times and dates. The colors are supposed to be red and reflex blue but anything similar that is standard will work fine. The size needs to be somewhere around 18" x 24" put they will let us adjust a few inches smaller or larger to fit into a standard size. The substrate can be anything from a heavyweight paper to cardstock (or posterboard). Quantity of 200 - 500 the first time and probably two more orders to follow of the same 200 - 500 quantity.
We can set up and screenprint these ourselves but there has got to be a better way. If anyone out there can handle that please contact me.
My other problem is that I have to have this quote in by 10:00 on Thursday morning. Another shop dropped the ball on this job and the whole thing (250 banners, 50,000 decals, 250 coro-signs) got dropped on us at the last minute. We will have 6 weeks production time, we just need to have the quote in in the morning.
If anyone has any ideas or can do this please quote it from what I've got above or if you need more information call me at (334) 262-7446.
And yes I am going to e-mail every one of the printing vendors I can find on the site.
Thanks for your help. Pat Whatley (334) 262-7446

search poly-tag as a short term political board substrate you might want to use. Quote from Stouse's catalogue to get one set of numbers to trust quickly. Then if someone else can match it later & save you on freight, great.
wait...this just in, I found my polytag source & they offer printing as well as selling the stock J.L. Darling Corp. out of Tacoma WA (206) 922-5000 (Stouse may still be cheaper) Also carefull what gauge you use, get samples

RED FLAG! WARNING Another Sign shop dropped the ball? and you STILL have a 6 week production time? Do you own a Sign Contractors Pricing Quide? Wholesale price guide from Super Signs in Auburn Alabama? Are you relying on the(PROMISE)of future work including banners, decals, more poster size jobs? A simple NO! would solve your dilemma in order to move on to less stress/more profitable work.
Hope this helps
