I'm blessed to have a terrific girlfriend whom I met thru this board! August 4th was her birthday, and though I did wish her a happy birthday last week, ... I still missed acknowledging it on the very day!
Happy Birthday Barb! I hope you don't mind a rerun on the design/card, but my sentiments are the same.
I wouldn't have known but she spilled the beans last night, again, Happy Birthday Barb, to a gal that works round the clock as being there for everybody. Good job, God Bless! Deb

boy am I schmoozing you or what? well Barb, if it wasn't for you smiling at Steve when he was in the pitts, well wouldn't we be here, would we be knowing each other, pleaaase don't think I am flattering you without very good reason. You have been kind and responsive to me when I write, and as far as the board, well, as much as some complain and moan (I find that interesting anyway, but who am I) you are totally responsible for all that is triggered here! You are not only a friend to many, you have maintained the spirit and done all this late night constant work. You have enjoyed the reapings of course but that can be like the waves of the ocean, high ups and high downs. Steve and you, no matter what happens here, have deserved to be reminded of the success of your labors and toil. I don't have any clever phrase to offer here, since this thought is right from the chopping block (sort of speak). I only want to step back and recognize what it is that brought us all together anyway. Not to hold you up like a God of course, but to not forget both of you, individually, and as one. From the innermost part of my heart, I could not go further in my day without sharing my feelings with you and our friends. (and as they say... "that's all she wrote.")

Happy birthday Barb! Nettie, the title of your post had me thinking something COMPLETELY different... though definitely "birth"day related...
