I was talking to a friend the other day and he wanted a sign painted with some sort of metallic paint? He said that you could paint a wall with this stuff (couple of coats) and magets would stick to it. Since he wants a menu board this would be a great idea. Have any of you heard of such a paint, name, brand, where to purchase it?

I don't know about paint, but there are adhesive-backed magnetically receptive surfaces you could adhere. Thin-tin is the name we used for one type that I've applied inside architectural frames, to allow for changable tenant name plaques. I've also seen a thicker material that is more similar to mag sheeting itself & would probably take paint well for your background color. I think I got it from Product Sign Supply (800)540-9199 I forgot what it was called.
