I had a job to do using the Image Perfect 10mil PVC. I had to cut out .5" x 1.00"
rectangle pieces with 1/16" fillets, and on the top side I had numbers that were printed, and on the back side I applied 3M adhesive from sheets of 24" x 36". These were to be applied on walls. I printed the numbers then took a pin and pierced a hole thru the center of the crosshair of the bombsight. I then flipped the pvc over and applied the 3M adhesive. I then aligned the hole with my eyepiece in the cutter. When I started the cutting, I noticed that the rectangles were way out of alignment on the Y axis. I later determined that the bombsight does not print on dead center of the printed graphic, because when I flipped the pvc over to cut the adhesive and scive the pvc, nothing lined up. I drew lines on the pvc and measured the location of the bombsight and determined it is off by 7 milimeters. Once I compensated for this, the rectangles cut out in their right places. On screen the bombsight is dead center with the graphic but when printed it is off 7 mil. Can this be adjusted on the Edge or is there something I'm not doing right? Thanks fot the help.
Gary.

Gary,

I don't have an answer, but I'll find out. You've got me wondering now.

I've got something new to learn!

Since you're cutting mirror image of what you're printing, could you mirror the job in GAPlot before you send it to the plotter? Or is that what you did? I haven't tried it to see whether the alignment would work or not.

You can select your reference point for cutting and printing. The crosshairs either wind up at the bottom left corner...or they wind up as if you were printing on center of vinyl. Check your plot page on the 123 icon. See if Center Target is checked or not. This might be your problem. Just a guess!!!

The center target is on, and I can't mirror the job in GA because I'm printing numbers.
I maybe misunderstanding the mirror side of it but can't see how it would work. The mirror would be left to right and the out of alignment is on the y axis (vertical).
I really think the bombsight is not lined up correctly although it appears so on the screen (monitor). Got the job done after
4-5 test plots.

Gary,
I'm not positive if this will work but in Gspplot besides printing the target in the center, check center on vinyl
Hope this works
