I was working on a dental sign at the Dixie Letterheads meet in Commerce, GA when I was discovered and was chosen as SOTM for Nov. Well, a purchasing agent for the U.S. Coast Guard was surfing the web and stumbled across your website. He made a note of it and now they need a 5'x 5' logo carved similiar to the dental sign for the USCG Training Center in Yorktown, VA. Without your exposure, I very well would not have gotten this job !!! So, my hat is off to you and the great service you provide to this great letterheads site !! I still think it would be an excellent idea to make a medallion of some sort to put on the winning participants website. Thanks again for a job well done !!
((( what is this Grain Belt stuff, anyway? ))

John....THAT is great news!!!!!!!! And you do great work! Mark does us all a service by creating and hosting the "Sign of the Month". (well, he hasn't done me much of a service cuz I ain't never been on sign of the month....but one of these days I'll send in a picture of something I think is worthy and hope that he has run out of other pics by then!!!!! )
Keep up the good work John AND Mark!

Great news John!!! you made my day buddy! my only reason for SOTM is to showcase great signwork. and your sign was a winner. as soon as i get a chance i will make a medallion to go on the winner's websites. if i have made Letterville a little more interesting with "Sign of the Month" then i have accomplished what i set out to do.
the rest of you heads send me a pic of one of your sign jobs, murals etc, and who knows, it just might lead to more work!
hey dave, "there is no way to win it if ya don't send it in!" LOL

I was surprised that the sign made it after all of the times that you moved it around in Commerce.
Sure is a nice sign!
