Today being the Solstice, which I always see as the end of the year, and I am looking back on what I accomplished, and what I did not get done.
Business-wise, it was a good year; some interesting projects sold for decent money. It looks like I'm going to be buying my shop this coming year, after six years of renting. With the help of Connecticut Sign Assoc. and the Portuguese Holy Ghost Society, we through a pretty decent Letterhead meet last June; I also got to attend Rick Glawson's Conclave in LA, Pat Neve's meet in Florida, and the U.K. meet in England in September. I tend to qualify a year by the quantity and quality of Letterhead meets I attend; if I get to go to all I want, I'm doing real well!
Looking forward, I'm planning on atttending the International meet in Milwaukee in August. I got to spend some time with Dave "the Letterman" at the USSC show in Atlantic City earlier this month, and if his energy and enthusiasm is any indication, this International will be memorable.
To all my friends and BullBoard aquaintences, I wish the best of the Holiday season for all of you.
Another year... what have you done?

Looks like I may buy my shop, after 5 years of renting. Deal is on the table now. After a slow start with an extra tax problem solved, we finished up pretty well. Thanks to my daughters job at Northwest Airlines, we traveled to Maine, Arizona and to the USSC show in Atlantic city this year. On the agenda is a Letterhead meet next year and to finally meet some of you people. Maybe to Ireland for our 25th anniversary? Hope all have a merry and reverent Christmas, with much success in the future.

Cam, Been a busy year for us too! Didn't make it to any meets because of the work load, seems I can't say 'NO' to any of my regulars, maybe this year I can weed out a few and spend a little more time being 'me' and going fishin' and to a few meets again. Glad to have the work and to have some profitable jobs lined up for the next couple months but we've put in way too many hours and I'm about burned to a crisp. Today the shop is closed (for the first day in many) and I just stopped in to check my e-mail and get a dose of the Letterhead spirit. Hope ye all have a Merry Christmas and a less hectic but more profitable New Year. God bless us each and everyone.
