Hi there was wondering if anyone had the Avalanche vehicle template to share I have two sets and both do not have the avalanche. Also maybe if someone has some pics of graphics that might have done on one. I'm thinking of purchasing to replace current shop truck. Thanks

Donald...If you are thinking of buyin one yourself...You'll be at the dealership. The vehicle brochures almost always have line drawing of the vehicles with various measurements included. Just scan and start playing with layouts.
Or..as Mario says..A digital camera is the real answer.

Well have two digital cameras Fuji and a Sony cd1000..Just no avalanche close by..
Normally do prefer to play it by ear...Just been so used to my yellow vehicles and I'm going with black this time around wanted to play a bit before hand.
Going to look at one tonight, got price down where I like it so will see where I'm at on it, things work out should have a large canvas by wednesday.

The Cadillace whatever it is? that was posted in the portfolio section a few weeks back is the Caddy version of the Avalanche. Just look in the older post for a topic with Caddy in it. Not a template but it had some graphics on it to look at.

I'm not sure if I'm supposed to share them or not legally or ethically, I have the template, and I have some pics of one we did that was black with gold leaf. I'm not proud of the design but we had to do the logo the customer had.
The back window is perfect for gerber vision.
I know this is for you and not for resale so I'll check in the AM with Pro vehicle outlines. If they say yes it's yours.

I WILL NOT buy any more new vehicles EVEN though I can afford it. Two years ago, I sold my last new car, a 1997 Camaro SS, it was $700 a month, what a crock. Since I got rid of it, I have been at the most easy going pace in my whole life. Just my take on it. Everybody says that used cars tear up all of the time well (knock on wood) we don't have any problems, matter of fact, all of my other new cars ('cept for a Toyota) stayed in the shop more than my used ones. Seemed like the more I paid for them, the more they stayed in the shop!

John's got a very valid point here...even buying a car that is 1 or 2 years old will save you a lot of dough.
I bought a new 2002 Chevy Silverado Z71 end of February. It was sooooo much more than my last new vehicle that I was paranoid to drive it once I got it...cause I was afraid something would happen to it? Bizzarre as it sounds....I kept it in the garage and drove one of my oldest vehicles all the time.
Here it is almost 5 months later and I only have 2,400 miles on it. I got a "good" deal on it...GM employee (relative) discount, $2002 manufacurer rebate, had $1,500 credit to put on it from my GM card earnings, and put a huuuge hunk of money down.....and it's still not cheap.
These cars are getting just outrageously priced! Even a "good" deal on an Avalanche is still a ripoff. My buddy has a car dealer license and buys cars from local auto auctions. He tells me about all the good deals he gets on cars a couple years old. He says as soon as you drive a new car off the lot, you are literally throwing an average of $5,000 out the window in INSTANT depreciation. I believe it.
I think the more toys you buy, the more you have to worry about maintaining them...it's a never ending game you can never win at.
I think my next vehicle will be a rusted out piece of crap that I don't have to park at the far end of the parking lot....and one I won't have to worry about someone "dingin".
Don't get me wrong...it's cool, and I like it and all.....but I think I need a good referral for a "automobile anxiety therapist".

We also have a 2001 Chevy Cavalier..cheap/nice lookin vehicle..it does not make any difference to the business.
Back to the 97 Dodge..IT MAKES US MONEY! It looks good and has a decent logo on the back side windows!..I am PROUD of it!

You know what is bad, is that we actually went and looked at cars a while back and the cheapies like Hundai and Kia actually looked as if they might be better cars than a lot of the American cars. My brother-In Law just traded in his comapany car, a 1998 american car with 100,000 miles on it. The transmission was about to go, the air was out and it was skipping a little among a dozen other problems. He even had it very well maintained. Hondas don't do usually do that.

todd..my sister in law works at the local auto auction. that is where we got the $600 volvo. guy took it to the auction, it had a problem that no garage he took it seemed able to fix. so he ran it thur the auction. this was 98 so at that time the 84 volvo on car lots was selling for $3000. he didnt get any bids higher then $500 so he was gona take it to another auction. my sister in law saw the car, and knew we have had a couple and that i can fix anything that goes wrong with them. she called me i looked at it...and bought it. a $3000 car for $600. and the problem it was having.....took $5 and i had to remove the gas tank fuel pump..and replace a 2" piece of rubber hose!!!!!!!!!!! same thing with the $2500 van...it was headed for aution...and i offered the dealership $2000..now and he wouldnt have to send it to auction(it cost dealers to run cars thur)he said $2500 and its yours. at the timei bought the 85 dodge ram van...they were selling everywhere else for $5-6000!!!!!!!!

Yeah most of us used car guys are "one man shops" probably. My brother in law gets a brand new dually every year but he owns a mega buck construction company. He says that by the time he does his taxes, he writes it all off. I think he pays cash for it. I don't know how he does it but thats what tax folks are for. You'd die if you saw his collection of toy's. '67 RS Camaro convt. in mint, 2002 SS Camaro Convt., 2002 Tahoe maxxed out, 2002 maxed out 4X4 chevy dually, 77' vette mint, 7? Nova SS mint, 2 jeeps 1 with about $25 k in it, and he just bought his kid a supped up Acura. I guess there is more money in consturcion than signs?

I've been trying to get my wife to let me get a bucket truck, just a smaller, older one, nothing fancy. I want to fix up the body, put some decent wheels on it , paint it chrome yellow, put a flame job on it, tint the windows and letter the hell out of it. I think it would be the coolest sign machine around. Only thing is, my wife keeps bugging me for a small truck for her. If I get my bucket truck first, it'll be WW III. Sometimes, your spouse can be your own worst enemy, but I still, love her. BUT I WILL GET MY BUCKET TRUCK, DADGUMMIT!!!
