My hubby brought home a small wrapped parcel from an oil company he has been working for for a couple of years. The oil company had a very good year, and rewarded hubby with a Digital Camera!! I know NOTHING about them, but I've heard you guys say how great they are for bus. (and a real fun toy besides)
It is a FujiFilm FinePix 4700 zoom...don't know if it is a good one or not; but who am I to look a gift horse in the mouth!! I am so excited...batteries are charging right now.
Any newby tips are greatly appreciated. I do intend to do a search on past posts. Merry Christmas everybody!

Wow thats great.... i never win anything! im about the unluckiest person alive ha ha!
Digital cameras are a great tool for our industry. They are very versatile and can increase customers interest in a job or quote. for instance... Yesterday i got a call from a local business that wants storefront signs made. They wanted me to come up with a logo for the company.... but they didn't know what they really wanted to do as far as what size sign they wanted.. so i got out my good ol olympus digital camera and took about 5 pictures of the building. Then i took them back to my shop and laid out the signs right on top of the building scaled to size. The customer was delighted to see what the sign was going to look like before it was actually there. He just ordered $700 in signs from me today!!! Digital cameras Rock!!!
