I believe it's actually called Signshine now. You shouldn't have to much trouble finding it if you search for that name. I've seen it used by someone who knew what they were doing and it looks like some interesting stuff. He added enamel paint to it to "color" it. I might give it a try too next time I use HDU for something.

I highly recommend both. The PB resin (epoxy) mixed with Oneshot looks awesome and is easy to do. I prime virtually all wood signs with First Step.

I just got some SignShine from Midwest, a merchant here. They have a trial size for about $15. It comes with instructions and everything you need to give it a try. I haven't had a chance to use it yet.

Your SignFoam supplier should have SignShine Resin. Midwest (a merchant here) does indeed carry SignShine and First Step by SignLife and SignLife stains. I like their stains but the colors are limited. Their Sunset brown is one of my favorites.
I've been using SignShine for well over a year now. These resins are easy to use, increases the strength of HDU, and cuts production time because one application (just a little more time than a single coat of paint) gives you an ultra smooth finish of over 1/32 inch thick. When hard, you can paint over it with One Shot, air brush on it, apply vinyl, SignGold, or gold leaf. Sometimes I swirl in a lighter shade of the base color for a marble or lacy look.
Midwest's closest outlet to you is in Wisconsin. 800-242-7430
