Installed/upgraded to Photoshop 7. Went to scan something and noticed no twian support ... uses "WIA" whatever that is. OK so I'll just scan through ps5 ... nope ... "no valid source in twain directory". Go into "my computer" and the "scanners cameras" option is gone. Try reinstalling the scanner ... still not there. I have no idea why I can't scan anymore ... or how to fix. Could it be because of installing PS7 while I am still running win98?

Mark, I have Win 2000. When I installed PS7 it did not overwrite PS5. I have scanned with PS7 and the Twain thing is there and works. I'm just a button pusher when it comes to installing software - no idea what to suggest in the way of a fix. Vic G
