Roger,
I'm applying a three color graphic to a window.
The black cast went on fine...bonded immediately.

The cast metalic gold, however, hasn't bonded yet.
it's been on for about 15 or 20 min. and I still can't remove the app tape. I used the el Rapido dos.

Some folks have had similar problem, cause they didn't think it was necc. to "clean first layer before applying second layer", this is a very important issue. [Eek!]

Everytime you plan to apply, plan to go thru Rapid Tacs' cleaning instructions again !

Thats just the way it is, I onwy make da stuff, wat cud I du ?? [Confused]

It's not that simple roger.
I'm not putting the other two colors on TOP of the black. It's all going directly to the glass.

The black stuck, the gold and ivory did not.

I know I did something wrong but, why did the black stick and the other two did not?

I used window cleaner on it yesterday and this afternoon I cleaned again with rapid tac 2.
What should I have used??

Thanks Victor,
That mailbox thing is still a mystery.
I'll get my ISP techies to check it again.
I'll send you one and you can just cut and paste your message and then reply. That should work

Wayne..I LOVE Rapid Roger's products but I learned a LONG time ago that there are two situations to NEVER use his Rapid Tac or Rapid TacII. Those are..on windows and over rivits. Both have resulted in disaster for me on several occasions.

For all other applications, I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Wayne, yes, something is wrong

#1- never never use window cleaners around Rapid Tac or any wet vinyl application ! Also; never use "prep solvents" from the paint industry (get rid a that PREKLENO Dave)and no 409, glass plus, vinigar, amonia, simple pimple, etc.

#2- Dave and Cheryl, if you can't do a wet application on glass with Rapid Tac products, well your not doin somethin right.
If I can do it on "FROZEN" glass, then you can do it on glass

After you laid the black, did you clean the area "again" before applying 2nd peice (overlay or not) still important. [Eek!]

The "fresh" cleaning with R.T. is not an option for good measure, its the rules. [Mad]

If you clean(with R.T) and apply some vinyl, then you wait 5 minutes and apply a shadow, etc., you must clean again !!
It sort of "sets up the substrate" for the next application. [Eek!]

I talk to a large number of people monthly thru e-mails,phone calls, etc., they praise the products for the ease of application, yes on glass too, wheellly !!!!! [Roll Eyes]
