Friendly reminder for everyone...Have you backed up all of your computer data recently?
For the past few hours, my desktop computer is doing very, very strange things and I have the sick feeling that it is about to crash hard. I'm frantically burning CDs and hoping that I get everything I need. I have piles of stuff backed up on ZIP discs but that doen't do me much good when neither one of my other computers has a ZIP drive.
Wish me luck and make sure that anything you really care about is backed up.

Kim, the problem is the heat. People and computers are intended to visit friends living in cooler climates this time of year. Leave the desert quickly and see if that fixes the problem.

Kim, I would buy an external ZIP drive for my stuff on ZIP's, they are really cheap now. I wouldn't try to burn it all to CD-Roms. I think Sams has them for $80 or less. I love mine still. I have a 250 and a 100, both external.
