I'll bump this up. I never bought any Vehicle outline collections, but I'm sure many here can refer you to sites where they can be purchased.

When my last digital camera gave out I bought a polaroid at costco for $30 or $40. I use the instant $1 apiece prints to scan & place signage on to sell jobs. It has paid for itself many times over.

I don't have anything under 1993 on my outlines. I still use the PIX thing most of the time. I never go by those outlines anyways. I always still measure the old fashioned way. The body lines can be deceiving on those outlines or at least to me. I like to see the "real" lay of the lines, and if you are using it for a selling point or proof, the real pix looks better anyways.

Digital cam..take the pic..size it..do the layout on top of the pic..e-mail it or print it..sell the job...do the work....get the money???

Currently, a digital camera in Canada, that will work fine for e-mail transfers only costs around $299. THAT is cheap! Only about $199 US!!How much better can ya get?

Just wanted to clarify my preference for digital camera. I like to educate myself on the best camera for my needs, & in this case also on the repair costs for existing equipment. These things take time, but a $40 polaroid incl film is a quick way to make the sale now, & shop for digital with the money it makes you.

So happens we have a Dakota out back of our shop. You are welcome to come over and trace around it, if you want to.
P.S. - bring a REALLY BIG piece of paper!

Thanks for all the help. I have what I need now.

It sure was hard holding all that tracing paper on that truck with all that wind blowing. [Embarrassed] )
