After much consideration...pondering and slowness to respond, I have finally broken down and purchased all the disks that Mike and Dave had to offer and I spent the entire evening drooling through the possibilities of application these designs can be applied to whether 3-d or gilding.
I personally beleive that work around this type of design is what will be the eventual separation made between the "quickie sticky shops" and the sign professional!
I would like to send a personal thank you (ha...my money did that!) to Mike and Dave for offering the quality designs that I now have access too!. I definately see potential!
There are subliminal dollar bills embedded into the art!...I swear....

Seriously though, I have Mike Jackson's Classic Sign Painters Ornaments CD and am of the opinion that it is the single most useful colection of "clipart" (I hesitate to even call it that) that I've ever owned. Gonna' buy the others pretty soon here.

That's exactly why I bought...I can't take a darn square and be as creative as Glenn Taylor with it!....so I thought the next best thing was to get all the help I need!.....
and I hope it helps make me look good too!....LOL

Hehehe....If you like the squares, just imagine what can be done with circles!
But seriously, Mike Jacksons stuff is some of the best out there. I hope to get his Mainstreet Collection soon. I've just got to get people to buy more squares in the meantime.

Robert, I agree that what will separate you from all the other sign folks in your area is better design. Since we are all using basically the same equipment, with access to the same fonts, clip art, etc., what is going to set you apart is your use of better design. And a lot of that design ability will be to incorporate Mike and Dave's "clip art" into your layouts.
We owe them both a big thank you for providing us with such a valuable tool.

Hello again, Thanks for all the kind words about our CD collections. I'm extremely happy to hear that people are using them and feel their investment was worth it! I was trying to add up the hours I put into the new Broadway Collection the other day. Over the four months, I figured I worked over 600 hours on this one. Ouch! But then, I think the people that have the CD can see how clean each image is, and why it took so long.
