We all have our favorite products we use over and over again I'm sure. What items do you have a special weakness for? Here's mine.

Shop related:

Rapid products
gold squeegees (good brand)
water soluable fine tipped black felt pens (instead of stabilos)
1" masking tape (good brand)
metal rulers with cork backings
knives with stainless steel blades only

Not shop related:

neat stuff for my kid
totally unnecessary rustic style knick knacks for the house (thanks Winners)
Tim Horton's coffee

My poor neglected list:

stuff for me other than my coffee (I currently own 1 pair of quality runners/sneakers, used for work, gardening and town LOL! Oh, and a customer trying to be funny told me that my coverall shorts looked like I jumped out of a vat of bleach. (a few years old, I just forgot, what's the deal, they aren't ripped or anything)

ignoring my hardworking truck (I've learned to hit or kick it somewhere and that squeeking stops no prob)

I would do obscene things for a cup of STRONG Second Cup coffee.

That dictates my first idiosyncrasy- I am ALLLWAAYS on the search for the perfect coffee mug. Big enough to last, but easy to hold; and the right look... Drives my wife nuts. I have too many sitting at work, and at home. And keychains. I don't buy a lot of them, but I'm always craning my neck out at those kiosks in the malls. I think my next one will be a D-ring. They seem pretty handy, but not too clunky.

At work, I am very anal about a SHARP Olfa knife. It's never far away. The carpet-layer's one is the best- steel tang right through, and a little hook on the end for levering, pulling staples, etc. It's always line-of-sight!! [Big Grin]

Well after some thought over a Tim Hortons double double, here are my favorite shop tools:

3M masking tape
1/8 blue fine line
Iwata airbrushes
One Shot lettering paints
( I had been using HOK urethane to stripe before I was introduced to One Shot. Holy moly. I'm now an official One Shot addict.)
HOK paints and clears
blue cargo pants with side pockets
opera music
quick release hose connects
blue shop towels

Hi Donna, John from down the road.

No. 1, has to be John Hannukaine's green handle, round ferrule, custom made by Mack brushes, the whole 5 pc. set! I've done parking garage jobs, Movie sets, and metal buildings with these 5 brushes, plus TINY 5/16" inh lettering on menus!!

Olfa zip knives with new blades.

Handmade pounce bags, (Hansee is cool too)

French Master grey quills.

Pint Glasses from deserving Brew Pubs / Microbreweries.

Parts to keep my KONA bikes rolling.

the good coffee beans.

A Daily X3/5 times dose of the bullboard!!

Everything else is second. But I especially like a yardstick in every corner & my truck the car and anywhere else I can leave one and it will be when I come back.

My hammer drill
welder
zip ties
wall paper scraper
sign pens
behind the seat tool box
and my favorite most often used tool? My 4x4 wrench

I think I'd answer Donna's question by looking around my shop and finding what I have too much of. Like those 1/2 pint upright cans of the old Commonwealth Varnishes. I have several cans of Black Fibroseal and Quick Rubbibg Varnish. If I saw some on a shelf I'd forget how much I have and buy more ....just in case. I also have alot of quills that have never seen color. Throwing away old pounce patterns is painful also.
