Well its official, We're going to OZ! finally its gonna happen . We just got our passports back and we're booking our flights. I just want to tell all our Ozzy friends that we're looking forward to meeting those of you whom we haven't met yet and reaquainting with those we already have. Rhonda and I are going to the Natl. Letterhead meet in Sydney and then we're going to play for 3 weeks around the country. any suggestions from those of you who have been there before? I have a few questions about the flight, would you book business class for this 14 hr flight? also what can we bring over to OZ for you here from the states? I know the TIMTAM Express has come this way many times!

Mike you might want to talk with Empy, he did a month over there, and from I remember he even ended up in the joint! So you might want to not follow every one of his trails. But I think it would still be interesting. Happy trails to both of you, have fun and enjoy down under to it's fullest!

Mike and Rhonda, I can promise you both a great time in our little part of "God's Country" down under. Just let me know the dates and times, and as I said before, I'll pick you up at the airport just to make sure that you stay on the right side of the road and don't get whisked away by one of the marauding bunyips or a similar beast.
I do believe that there is a possibilty that Mike, of the Mike Myers fame, may be gracing us with his presence also, after Mars and the meet in England and a short period in Spain we are, according to Mike going on the Myers/Jordan World Sign and Orgy Extraviganza, any further applicants out there ?

Gday Mike and Rhonda, You already know the door is open at my place any time you need somewhere to crash/eat/drink... It might give me the excuse I need to take some time off myself. As I think I explained, I may or may not be going to John's meet depending on that "other event" thats happening around the same time, either way theres plenty of heads up this way and plenty to see and do. If its any help I can put you in touch with a couple from Maryland that have come over a few times, they might be able to give you a US perspective on Oz and whats worth going out of the way to see. Empy can definately fill you in on what we are like ... do's and don'ts ... what to see etc. RT made a trip down here too. They both seemed to like it, cause they both threaten to come back one day. hahahahaha
You must include Queensland in your itinery. We may even be able to organise some transport for you back up this way after the meet. There is always a spare room at my place and you are most welcome. A lot of cool Letterheads within a few hours of Brisbane. Lots to do and see ... excellent diving and not far from the Great Barrier Reef.
The real secret to being able to move around as I do is, when you start your family make sure that you have a son first.....train him well ( he's the second best letterhead in this business) and later have a daughter who eventually marries a man who is also interested in signmaking. As the amount of staff employed here varies between six and eight we never have a problem with time off.

The secret of my being able to do what I do is, when you decide to have a family make sure that the first born is a son, train him well, and later a daughter who eventually marries a man who is interested in signmaking then you have it made !!!! Time off here is no big deal as our staff varies between six and eight and now and then I manage time off to do a course (golf course that is) or attend a meet somewhere in the world.

Hey Mike, My wife Liddy and I moved into a new home 2 years ago that has a large spare room with it's own ensuite which is at your disposal, if you don't mind being woken up by kookaburras laughing and sitting on the rail otside the room with a fabulous view of the Sunshine Coast hinterland. I am sure I could show you a great time as we are 20 minutes from Australia Zoo, home of Steve Irwin the crocodile man, whom I also think is an embarassment to the country but is good for a giggle. I am faily sure at this stage that I will be able to make it to Sydney, so I look forward to meeting you guys. What ever you do have a great time in Oz and do try to get up here to see this wonderful state of Queensland and especially the Sunshine Coast.

Way to go Mike. Oz will be very lucky to experience the wonderful talent that Mike has.I have seen him in action a few times and he is really almost unbelieveable. Along with being so good at whatever he does, he is also very fast. If I can get it all together, Oz is in my future.

mike take a leaf out of Mayo's book and, with map of Oz in hand, plot where all the heads you know are so that you can move from place to place, from head to head as it were
you are of course both most welcome to stay with devo and me, we can't offer the great veiws that dave drane can but the hunter vally has a few plus's.... if you ike to drink wine that is! and we are only a few hours north of sydney
whatever you 2 decide to do i know you will have a blast
