can anyone tell me what a .sit file is and how to open it.
had a customer e-mail it to me and i have never heard of that type file. it is their logo and the letter style is utopia which i don't have

Jimmy, after you run the uncompress program, you should be able to look at the file name with your file manager. Macs aren't real good at assigning PC file extensions, and it may be the file is ok but the PC won't read it because the extension is wrong.
So, two questions. First, what format is the file supposed to be once it is unstuffed, eps?
And second, what is the file name you see after the file is uncompressed? Vic G

it does not have a file extension. it just says utopia. i think that it may be a mac font.
