Thought I'd pass this link along to anyone intersted. I've been doing a lot of research lately on printers and software and the different RIP available. RIP may also have to do with "banding" that some have concerns about. This site is for Wideformat printing and seems like it has a deep knowledge base. Also a section that they will help with when purchasing.
