Went to the jersey shore this weekend and strolled the boardwalk seen lot's of hand painted signs with absolutly no computer influence some really great stuff would there be any intrest in a book involving this type of work resort areas, sea shore, carnivals, fairs etc.The only requirement would be no computer influence including computer generated patterns & drawings.P.S seen lot's of great 50's style neon signs too really good old stuff.

The signs at Seaside are really cool - not sure if those are the ones you're referring to, but someone down there is doing some clean, colorful and very nice handpainted work!

There's certainly renewed interest in retro stuff, for sure.

Yes they are when I see those type of signs It makes me want to return to the good ole days, I really don't enjoy this buisness like I used to when the only electronic device in the shop was my radio for me the sign buisness will never be as much fun as it once was and that is real shame.I used to eat sleep and drink signs but I pretty much lost all intrest just aint fun no more I aint into peeling vinyl might head out to mars, pa. maybe that will help.
