I'm glad to see you went the "extra mile" toward your own character development.
There have been several times that people from that type of business have requested me to make a sign for them and I won't. I take the time to explain my beliefs and they usually walk away respecting me, but I do not want to use my talents to further their occult practices.
Are there types of businesses that you will not promote? Do you ever refuse anybody on a principle type situation rather than money or personality conflict?
Should this have been said on a seperate post?

Rick, there are many jobs I refuse for one reason or another. Anything porn related, strip clubs etc. Off color clipart or wording. Astrology related businesses don't seem to bother me that much, because who takes them seriously. I take them about as serious as I do halloween. I am far more worried about some of the half baked churches that come my way.

Joe, your sign makes the point that classiness and retail price can be two different things.
It's a very nice layout. The cutout border is the icing on the cake. It just happens to be mounted on an inexpensive medium.(pun unintended but somehow appropriate)
Nice work! Vic G

Rick, I have to plead ignorant to this one. I have never given that type of business any thought… Your stance is food for thought.

To date I have yet to turn down or not quote a sign job (that was within my means). But, I have never been approached by anyone other than a “normal/every day” business (aside from the psychics ). Again, more foods for thought….

Nice touch. To answer Rick's question - I had a guy who wanted me to help him with the wording on a banner so he could mislead people into thinking they would get a free computer with every purchase of I think it was vacation packages or something. They actually would get a disk with some software on it. I refused the job.
