I have a client who needs several signs out of 1/8" aluminum with the copy routed out of the sign. Any ideas on where to go for this? My concern is all the type and square corners on the type and logo. thanks.

Eric, you have put your finger on the trade-off with a router. With aluminum, the bigger bit is stronger but leaves a larger radius in the square inside corners. We like to use 3/16 bits. You can simulate the look by placing a 3/32 radius on a few inside corners. If the look is not crisp enough, then the best choice is waterjet or laser cut, but of which will give you nice crisp corners.
