OP, I saw your topic & your name & I thought for sure this was going to be a joke on all the posts asking for clipart or fonts. Just post the sign specs you NEED & let letterville do the rest. All you gotta do is write the invoice!

OP - you set it up in Corel 3 (or whatever) at full size or near full size. Assign the colors. Get your clients approval of your art. Include a box where you want the cutline. Convert the text to curves and send it to me via email.
I will print it with UV ink on heavy coated soft white paper and mail it to you in a tube. $24 plus the mailing. Priority parcel is $3.50 til the end of June.
This is a high rent district out here. Someone closer to home may be able to do it for you for less.

A sheet of card costs $4-5 bucks, another buck and a half for the vinyl, and a quarter for the app tape. Then there's the risk of the app tape pulling up some of the card surface. It's gonna take fifteen minutes to set the type and another ten to weed it and get app tape on it. By the time it's all done and said, and you talk to your customer and print an invoice and file it and bank away the sales tax, you've got well over an hour in it at the fastest.

Joe, It seems to consistantly work out that one third of what our shop brings in comes home to run our household. This ratio seems to be rather standard for many businesses.
Carpenters around here working on a non union crew with some benefits are getting upwards of $24 an hour. I have a far greater skill and investment and think that I'm worth at least that much. Spending an hour for a $40 job to bring home $13 bucks doesn't seem fair to my kids.
