Ok, this should be easy but I finished reading every manual and help topic and asked everyone I know. I still don't have the answer and deadline is upon me. I need to bend this text around a circle, two words on top and one under the circle. I fit the top two words to path and voila, but no option to bend the word on the bottom the other way since it is, of course, not supposed to stand upside down.I think there should be an option under "vertical placement" or "text placement" but there is none. This is in version 9. I'd also like to buy a book like "Mastering Corel" so I don't have to bug you too much, but there is none for version 9. Is "Mastering Corel 8" ok ? An answer here would really help me out at this time. Thanks in advance.

Lottie...I can't remember if Corel 9 is the same but in version 10 you fit ther text to path. Then click away, then reclick on the text and the top toolbar changes to show all the settings. The 4th dropdown box to the right is the one that shows where to place the text (right, left, top or bottom).
I know in earlier versions that doing this was a real pain in the neck, but I think versions 8and up are all the same and fairly easy.

Lotti, Place the text on top of the circle , click the down arrow of the Vert. Placement list box, and choose the second option down- text below the line. Click the down arrow on the Text Placement list box and choose the third option down- text underneath the arc. Click the Place on Other side Button on the property bar; its a squiggly looking button with a blue arrow. That should do it.

B I N G O !! Thank you so much, Eric and Dave. Now I can do it in either version, which is great since I work with both at times. Sending files back and forth now works fine, by the way. Thanks again.
