I have a Roland Pnc 1000 and cutting with Signlab 5. When I go to Cut I've noticed that there is a pounce mode there. My question is will this Roland pounce without any special problems or do I need extra programs? Thanks in advance Randy

Almost any plotter will pounce, in a sewing machine fashion,...however certain ones were not designed for it,..yours is one of them. The pounce action will tear up your platen strip(the white nylon strip that goes beneath the blade carriage)and the blade.

The "pounce" on my Gerber 4b is a WHEEL on cut mode,as opposed to the sewing machine effect that as Timi states will tear up your machine.
