Well, its new to me anyway. I came across this while doing a search for coroplast suppliers. The wings are 1 piece, with the center spar made from a couple of wooden yardsticks. The fusealage is PVC gutter pipe. Its all put together with CA,(super glue). Seems these guys also use 5 mil vinyl to cover and decorate these too. I gave up RC flying about 10 years ago,(kids and dogs), this is gonna get me back into it I'm sure.

I like it!!! Reminded me of one of my RC flights! This is all that was left, so I mounted it on a display board in my shop!! On the board it says "Augered it in! 1989" I fly a new one when I get time! -

Theres a RC airplane field right up from my shop, it stays busy every weekend. I need to let them know I sell coro I guess. Speaking of wierd uses for coro-plas, I sold some to a guy who used it in his shower for wall covering!

they fly those things around here, they use 2mil corro. They fly COMBAT with those things. They tie a ribbon to the tail and try to cut the ribbon from the other guys plane before he gets yours! Distance judgement is not always accurate, therefore the cheap parts!

And I thought using black coro as a lawn edging was pretty smart... Got to try to build one of those with my nephews. [Razz]
