I remember a post from Rob Larkin on a source for those small 1 ounce cups(for holding paint) that could be found on mddepot.com...33.00 for 5000 cups...well
I went to order and they are out of stock...called their supplier and they too must order them...and I am trying to get some in for the meet next week
Anyone have an alternative source or a substitute?
I would appreciate any assistance!

I use the plastic coated hot cups for samples at coffee houses. They are made by dixie and will hold lacquer thinner without leaking. I don't know the number but they are like 2 oz or 4oz cups (the same size as bathroom cups). They are by far the best cups I've found for paint.Usually a case will go for about $30. I know someone who had family at the factory and get the rejects from quality control( contaminated or misprints, not fit for consumption etc), but found some locally thru a coffee house.

Robert, try most any local home care company/agency. These folks keep all kinds of medical supplies on hand for their visiting nurses to use. If you can get the 1 oz. cups, be sure to get the ones that are milky in appearance. The clear ones are a harder plastic, and do not stand up to thinners.

How fast do you need them and how many would you want? I must be sitting on at least a few 1000. They come in 100 to a sleeve. Give me an email an address and a number and that will be my contribution for your meet!

How Kind!.....I will accept!....I still have cups ordered but this will allow me to forgo not having to pay an arm and a leg for the other cups mentioned....and yes...by far mddepot.com is the cheapest...I just got off the phone with another and they wanted 115.00 for the exact same product...
Thanks again Joey!

How ironic how things come together at times. My goodness and caring attitude in real life always gets the best of me, yet usually costs more then lunch.
Up a 5am in order to take care of the multitude of projects for today, only to take a nap at 1pm and awake at 5. I missed the entire day and for what? Now Robert has to send me at least 25 of those SS cups, what a long strange trip its been!

Are ya gonna have a panel parade?
I'll be at Bob Harper's then but if you post a time on the BB for the video feed, Bob and I can hit the library and catch some of the meet! Hopefully you'll have some coverage during the hours that the library is open. I'm really starting to appreciate what Jill goes through LOL.
I can't help having high expectations with all the fan fare we've seen so far. By the way, nice sign on the Portfolio page.
A lot of folks are coming that I have never heard of before and we got about 6 yesterday...
We have about 50 folks that are headin this way and with the potential sponsors that were invited the room should fill up nicely
I have not received any cups yet but am confident they will arrive in the next couple of days...
As for the head TV thing...I am not sure. I have not gotten the nstructions from Steve on the hookup for it and hope I have time to figure it out once I do get them..
but the spaces are clean and we are setting up for bear!
and already tired..yes.....folks would be very surprised what planning goes into this sort of thing!.....but it should be worth it!
If we don't have head tv we will have lots of film and photos to share!
