I know this is WAY off topic, but Dad's sellign his toy. It's a beautiful automobile, but it just doesn't float (hey, boats are very cool). Does anyone have any interest, or know anyone that may?

Opps.. almost forgot.. the little page I built for the car only views right in Internet Explorer, ( sorry netscape folks, I'm still learning) What is with Netscape though? Maybe we could start a new thread about why Netscape seems to not work nearly as well with Dynamic page design? LOL

Hi Jeff.......Great car!!! I love Corvettes. The site did open in Netscape. I am in the process of restoring an original 1965 "Fuelie" Corvette Coupe. It has side pipes, knock-off wheels and the 375hp fuel injected motor. I have a page on my web site showing the start to finish progress. You will see a Corvette, just click on it. I purchased the car in 1969 and was last driven in 1976! It has taken a ton of of work, but it is FUN!!!

Tony, here's a preview of what your restoration is gonna look like.
That's the owner sitting in his '65.. He bought it brand new when he was 16 years old, kept it all these years amazingly enough, and rebuilt it.
He was a neighbor that lived in my subdivision so I know him pretty well. When I was 12 years old (I turn 26 in a few weeks) it was during summer vacation from school when one day I walked into his garage and stood there watching him work on his car... ya know, bored kids tend to do that. He put me to work on it, taught me how to lay-up f'glass and do all the bodywork.
Thanks to him, I'm hooked on cars. On the other hand, without that experience I probably wouldnt be building the custom sculpted body panels that I can do now.

My dad bought #17 right off the showroom floor back in 1953. It was one of the cars I learned to drive with. I think GM compiled a list of the existing 'vettes...or there was a publication (magazine) which did, and dad's was the the 2nd oldest survivor they could identify. hk

I remember always thinking that Vette owners were a little ... well.. "off" . But after getting a little older and stopping to talk to most of the guys I see with nice Vettes, I've been pleasantly surprised. Mostly some really nice people, and always eager to tell their "Corvette Story". My Dads is very nice, ( Wish I could buy it) and WOW some of the older cars you guys posted here are amazing.. You know Roger almost considered a kit to turn his 2000 chassis into a 58 look alike.. Wow.. that would have been an amazing ride! ( guys, as Far as the netscape browser is concerned, I'm sorry.. I really am trying to understand what is up with Netscape, but oh well.. I think the newest version (7) works much better, and is a free download..

Hey Jeff, dont worry about netscape, nobody else does. Only 5% of all web users even use netscape nowadays and since AOL bought them up it's gone down the crapper anyway and really doesnt have much of a future.
