I WAS JUST INFORMED BY MY COMPUTER PARTS SUPPLIER THAT MICROSOFT WILL ONLY HAVE WIN XP AVAILABLEFOR SHIPPING AS OF NEXT WEEK! ALL THE PREVIOUSVERSIONS HAVE BEEN DISCONTINUED.

You guys be nice to BOB. I sometimes have a tendency to use all caps. My habit comes from using the old teletype machines before computers. They only had upper case letters. SO BEEE NICE TO BOB!!! Ha

Just to be on the safe side I went today and bought a full version of Windows 98 SE. I don't hate everybody just Windows ME.

I guess I am covered...Nobody wanted to buy my copies of DOS 3.0, DOS 3.1, DOS 3.11, Win 95, Win 98, Win 98SE or Win 2000. Guess I better hang on to them. Hmmmm, maybe I should scoop up a copy of Win ME and the first edition of XP too!!!! Just in case they become obsolete too!!!!!!!! LOL LOL LOL
Oh..just realised why no one wanted DOS 3.0..my copy is on 5.25" REAL floppy floppies! No one has those drives any more!!!! Boy I miss those babies..You could bend em and stomp on em and it didn't hurt em! hehehehehehehe

I have an uninstalled, never even been in the CD-ROM tray windows ME upgrade. I bought it when it first came out and waited to see some feedback on it before I installed it on my old computer. After hearing all of the initial complaints, I figured I was better of staying with 98. My newest computer came with ME already istalled, man I hate it. I am fixing to cure that problem though. I have a 10,000 RPM 40 gig hard driv just waiting to be installed, I am taking out the hard drive with ME on it and replacing it and then installing 98SE, hopefully it'll be bye-bye buggers.

John..I am thinkin like you..Win 98 SE had a couple of minor probs but it was basically a decent OS. Win 2000 is GREAT but I can't cut to my Roland directly..not Windows prob..Roland's bad driver..
When I get a couple of days available that customers or Shirl don't want me to be working..I think I'll wipe everything off and start all over again with WIN 98 SE!!!
Anyone want a copy of Win 2000 Pro real cheap?? LOL..Oh I can't do that..it is now not available..better keep it as a family heirloom!!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA

I told the guy at compusa I was having problems, he said maybe I should buy a Registry Cleaning program. I am already using everything that came with Norton System workss including a registry cleaner. I told him I have the best registry cleaner in the whole world. Dump ME and do a fresh install of 98. Everybody also tries to sell you XP like it's the greatest thing since sliced bread, I remeber that is what they told me when I bought ME, it'll fix all of your problems. What dumb@#$##$$!
