Every time I have to use GA 6.0 for an Edge job I wind up with more grey hair. It works great when importing small raster images for decals, but otherwise I go crazy trying to select and assign colors on a vector job imported from a customer.

I'm almost ready to buy a Mac with Illustrator and print jobs from there. Does anyone know how much this approach would cost and does it really work?

Ernie,

You may want to check these out....

Also, you may want to check out Gerber's Omega 1.56 when it is released soon. Color foil and vinyl assignments can be selected automatically during the import process. I got a chance to see it at the ISA show in Orlando and it was pretty slick.

Thanks Glenn,

I'm thinking that I can buy a Mac, Illustrator, and the MacImprint driver for less than the cost of Omega.

It's always frustrating when the customer brings in Mac files and has no clue about PC file formats.
