I'm getting tons of them.....from ppl and places I'm never heard of...AND getting many returned mail notices from ppl I've never sent mail to....some say they were rejected because they contained a virus!
I did searches last night with my AVG...it said I had the klez virus...I scanned with Norton, it said I didn't......
I went into my storage file in my email program (where this thing supposedly lives ) and cleaned it out.....
Dunno if it did any good, but I rescanned with the AVG and it didn't find it.....
I dunno, I'm opening all future mail off on the server before it gets to my computer from now on,

The Klez virus is a worm. It makes copies of your address book and stores them in hidden files on your harddrive. It them emails copies of itself to those on the lists. This can happen in the backgroud without your email client running. It does a lot of ugly things to selected files on your system as well.
There is a lot of info and a klez removal tool (free) on the symantec website.
As you may have guessed, I've had to learn more than I ever wanted about this nasty little ^$#@ in the last few days. I'd love to have a little prayer meeting with the &%$#@ that wrote this one.
I hope this link is of help.
