Oh! I forgot to ask, I was one of the first owners of the Signlab,Photoscript rip for the HP5000 and it was a complete nightmare. Since then I have had no luck in finding a rip for it. I would be so greatfull for any advise from someone who has the 5000 and Signlab as to how they use it. I think I am really limiting myself as far as what can be done with the 5000. Thanks Again.

Hi Leonard, we run a Flexi Rip with our Hp5000 and print from Illustrator usually. We really like it - fast! As far as inks for HP 5000 we have priced US & Canada and they are quite a bit cheaper in Canada, we bought printer in US because it was cheaper! E-mail me if you have questions.
