I've always loved decorative glass pannels (read Golden Era Studios) I have sort of half-heartedly made efforts to add some glass techniques to my bag 'o tricks and have had reasonable success on several gilded and glue chipped projects in the past.
Now my enthusiasm for the medium has been rekindled by Robert Frese's fantastic article in Signcraft about Damar embossing. So my question is; does anyone have any suggestions for learning materials on the subject, Aside from the obvious Kent Smith book I mean?

Strongs book on gilding covers aspects of raised damar centers as do several others.The book I have is not much more than a booklet published in the thirties. There is a book on an ebay auction right now that more than likely covers the subject also.I don't have the link though it was on the post about selling some sign books.
