Hello, Just wondering if anyone else using Inspire has had a problem where you will lose Icons and then any file that is saved after that has a size but no preview. If you try to open it, the filename is in the top blue bar, but the design is empty. Is there any way to get these files back? The .BAK file is the same and can not be used. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Sorry, I don't have inspire, so I can't help you. I just wanted to welcome you to the BB, and say how nice it is to see someone from Sask. posting. Our numbers are growing!
Hope you get an answer to your question.

Usually it works this way... The file shows up in explorer, has a file size of 439kb but nada else. Have rebooting usually works but for some reason it hasn't lately. I can e-mail the file if anyone has Inspire and would like to take a crack at it...

I use Inspire 1.6 and have have this problem with one of my files...
At the OPEN FILE menu, click on ALL FILES, this will give you two files to choose from, click on each one of them and see if you get a preview. When I do this, one of the files will preview and open (I think it's the BAK file) and I am able to work with it as usual.
Works for me, good luck! Cher.

Cheryl, Thank you, that worked for one of the files. The other one unfortunately does not. Oh well...it will fix itself if I wait long enough...
