Henry Barker made a post last week letting people know our new CD collection is ready, but actually we just received the booklets. So, as of today, we are shipping the new package. This one is different than the previous two CDs and should serve the purposes of entry level shops right up to the top end craftspeople.

Check out the site at:
http://www.goldenstudios.com/index.htm

There are three different downloadable images on the site now, so even if you are not quite ready to purchase, at least go get the sample images!

This CD has been four months in the making and it feels good to finally get to release it to the trade.

Thanks for letting us all know Mike. With all the running around this last week, we never did get a chance to welcome you back as a Letterville Merchant.

There is not much I can add about Mike's CDs that everyone else hasn't said. They are excellant quality and very clean. All the designs can be used alone or mixed and matched with with other ornaments. It's a great investment!

Pat,

When you click on the "Free Ornament" the page you are on changes and the delipanel comes up, you then choose if you want it in ai. or plt format, and when you make that choice the "saveto" window pops up and you can choose wherever you want to save the file.

Clicking once on the "free ornament" doesn't download the file.

I see the payment has been drawn from my account today....am really looking forward to recieving the CD,

Thanks again Mike.

This is just one more great tool that we now have to produce quality designs. Mike's other two CD's have been well used here in my studio and have paid for themselves countless times. I'm sure this one will be no exception.

Mike's work speaks for itself and his personal quest for perfection is reflected in everything he does. These three collections of work are examples of his continuing desire to improve our craft.

Thanks Mike!

You have my check - I'd better be seeing a CD in the mail real soon! Also, while I was in Columbus last week doing my Dog and Pony Show I pushed your CD's...so whenever you find the time you can drop my commission check in the mail.

P.S. I am also constantly pushing books by that Gary Anderson guy, but I never get a check from him either.

Hello again,

PKing>> I create a folder on my computers called "Downloads" and always point all my downloads into that folder. It makes it easier to find later.

Henry Barker>>Your CD went out by Air Mail!

Raymond>> Your CD went out by Priority US Mail, but the commission check....come up and get it!

Mark Fair>> Your CD is sitting here waiting for you!

---------------------------------

Related story>> The printer was about to put those ugly and useless plastic comb binders in the booklets when we went by. They were shown our Main Street booklet which has the nice spiral wire binders, and the bid only said "binding..$xxx.xx" Luckily, they hadn't starting punching the holes and we were able to take them to a different bindry, but that delayed the final shipment a few days. The new booklets look very nice! << I'd hate to be in the printing business. So many things can go wrong, and you can't just go out and peel off a few letters and replace them if you get something wrong.

After working on this CD day and night for four months, with so many steps involved, it is great to send the first batch out so people can start seeing the fruits of all the labor! Also, thanks to Chuck Davis at Letterhead Fonts for working with me on the six fonts included on the disk. LHF Brewer's Bold and Encore BW are quite unique. Encore BW is the font used in the logo above.

Thanks for the replies.
